WEISS GmbH Tief- und Straßenbau" celebrated its 70th company anniversary in 2019. Already in the third generation, the family business from Baden-Baden is managed and is a powerful, competent and conscientious partner with about 100 employees.
A technologically progressive fleet of vehicles and equipment provides competitive advantages in the implementation of civil engineering and road construction projects. All of the company's dozers, excavators and graders are equipped with automation technology, such as GPS technology or laser control. This enables unprecedented precision in terrain or asphalt surfacing work. In addition, the company has a workshop that ensures that vehicles and equipment are quickly back in service during after-sales service or repairs. In addition, two workshop trucks take care of repair work on the construction site.
The traditional family business finds its origin in 1949 in Baden-Baden. Founder Robert Weiss ran a company for paving and natural stones and was supported by his son Roland from 1980. Subsequently, the trained master road builder Roland Weiss founded the "WEISS GmbH Tief- und Straßenbau" with 35 employees in 1988. The consolidation in civil engineering and road construction led to a continuous development. In 1990, an administration building with office and recreation rooms, as well as work areas for surveying technology, calculation, construction management and accounting were built.
Oliver Weiss has been active in the company since 2012. The grandson of the company founder took over the management of the family business in 2019.
